Frequently Asked Questions

Will my flowers change colour?
Flowers are naturally delicate, so subtle colour changes can occur during the freeze-drying process. Some blooms may soften or deepen slightly in tone, but every effort is made to preserve their natural beauty as closely as possible.
Will my flowers keep their shape?
Freeze-drying preserves the structure of flowers far better than traditional drying methods. Your bouquet will retain its form, though some delicate petals may become slightly more fragile over time.
What if some flowers cannot be preserved?
Occasionally, flowers may arrive in a condition that makes them unsuitable for preservation. In this case, the best remaining blooms will be carefully selected to ensure your finished piece is still beautifully representative of your bouquet.
How long does the process take?
The full preservation process can take up to 40 weeks, depending on your chosen design and the time of year. Each piece is individually handcrafted, with care taken at every stage to achieve the best possible result.
Can all bouquets be preserved?
Most bouquets can be preserved successfully. However, the final result will always depend on the freshness and condition of the flowers when they arrive.
How long will preserved flowers last?
When cared for correctly, preserved flowers can last for many years, allowing you to hold onto your memories for a lifetime
When should I book?
It’s best to book as early as possible to secure your space, as availability is limited due to the freeze-drying process.
However, I understand that not everything can be planned — especially with sympathy flowers — so please do get in touch and I will always do my best to accommodate you.
How do I send my bouquet?
Your bouquet should arrive 1–3 days after your event, as freshness is key to achieving the best results.
Hand delivery is always preferred where possible. If posting, a next-day delivery service is recommended, carefully packaged to protect the flowers in transit.
A full Client Information Pack will be provided after booking, with step-by-step guidance
What happens once my flowers arrive?
Your flowers are carefully checked and prepared before being placed into the freeze-drying process.
They are first frozen, then slowly dried over time to preserve their natural shape and beauty. Once complete, your flowers are arranged and set into your chosen design by hand.

A gentle note
Your flowers often hold deep meaning — whether from a wedding, a farewell, or a moment you never want to forget.
Every piece is treated with the utmost care, respect, and attention it deserves.
Ready to secure your date?
I only take on a small amount of bouquets a month due to space in the freeze dryer. Availability is limited, so early booking is highly recommended.
