About Me
Hello, I’m Teresa — the founder of Memories In Flower Preservation.My journey into flower preservation is deeply personal. As a mother of two children with Autism, and with my husband also on the Autism spectrum, family life has always been full, demanding, and, at times, overwhelming. Like many parents, I found myself giving everything to those around me, with very little time left for myself.As my children grew older, I began searching for something that was just mine — a space to breathe, create, and reconnect with who I am.That space became flowers.Gardening quickly turned into more than a hobby; it became a form of calm, a quiet escape from the noise of everyday life. I found myself completely captivated by the beauty in each bloom — the deep blue of an iris, the soft blush on the edge of a rose, the delicate character in every petal. Flowers felt fleeting, yet full of meaning… and I became determined to preserve that beauty.In 2023, I took the first step in turning that passion into something more. I trained with JamJar Studios in London, completed a specialist course with Bex Partridge, and continued learning through the expertise of Kew Gardens. What began with pressed flowers soon evolved into the art of freeze drying and resin preservation — allowing me to capture flowers in their most natural, dimensional form.Today, I have the privilege of preserving some of life’s most meaningful moments — from wedding bouquets to deeply sentimental arrangements — transforming them into lasting keepsakes.Preserving Memories with PassionAt Memories In Flower Preservation, I believe flowers are more than just beautiful — they are deeply symbolic.
